Live For The Moment, Not For Tomorrow

Too many of us are living for tomorrow, or next week, or next year. I myself am one of many who focused all of my attention and happiness on Fridays, which is well known as payday. As many of you know, this is a paycheck to paycheck mentality. All of my attention was focused on getting that check in on Friday so that I could have just over enough to pay the bills. Or if I was at work (working for somebody else) I couldn’t wait for the time to go by fast just so I could leave. I remember doing specific tasks at work that made the time seem as if it was going by quickly. I would also complain if time wasn’t going by fast enough, and I would be happy if it was going quickly. What is wrong with rushing is that time goes by so fast when you are focused on another day all of the time rather than today itself. As you are focused on another day all of the time, while time is moving fast, that means time is running out, and your getting older. So when all of your time and energy is put into rushing for another day, you are waisting your time that you could and should be enjoying.

Whenever we take our focus off tomorrow and focus on today, we get today’s tasks done much better. If you are working on a project that requires you to use quite a bit of your brain, then you can’t sit there and worry about what you have to do another day. Whenever you do that it takes away from the energy and focus that you put towards your current task.

We are here to enjoy life. We are each given time, and we all have the same amount of time as everyone else. Lets pretend someone is taking score of how much we are enjoying life. The winner is based on whoever spends more of their time being happy. So in this case whoever is happier for the longest time wins. How could you possibly win this competition of being happiest for the longest period of time, when you are spending the majority of that time rushing and not enjoying where you currently are?

Be FREE

To live free is one of the strongest desires a man could ever have. Being truly free goes well beyond free will to do what you want. This freedom I speak of consists of doing what you want to do, and doing it without worry. Freedom in my opinion is living your life in bliss without the struggles, without the trouble, and the pain. To live free means being consistently happy and confident that you can be, do, or have whatever you want to. Freedom is not trying to cut loose from whatever you are limited to in the world. Freedom is letting go of what you already know, and learning something new. Freedom is the awareness of no limits whatsoever. Freedom is being conscious of the true fact that absolutely nothing in this world is impossible. Which world do I mean? Your mental world, your thoughts, your imagination. There is no limit to what you can picture in your mind. Therefore, there is nothing that you can not do, be, or have in the world outside of you. The reason is because your outer world (everything you see outside of you) is only a manifestation of what you see inside of you.

As I have previously written in my earlier post You Are Looking Into A Mirror you could clearly see that life is like looking directly into a mirror, and the person you see in the mirror is your world which is only a reflection of you. Now if that is the case, then it is true that we can create our world. This means complete control of everything in our world, the things we attract, and so on.

My purpose, goal, desire, and promise is to live free in all areas of my entire life. That means being abundantly happy, healthy, wealthy, and righteous. My life is full of bliss when I follow the path of true freedom. Nothing has a hold on me whatsoever. This means that I desire to be extremely happy and grateful to the point that others become the same way and enjoy my presence around them. My health will be perfect, as I maintain a healthy diet and keep up with a consistent exercise schedule that is effective. As far as wealth goes I will have great relationships with everyone, living in peace. Financially I will have enough money to the point that doing anything I want is of no worry or concern as to whether I can afford to do it. I will freely live financially (Financially Free) and generously give to others and help everyone I can to live the same. I will always be spiritually connected which is most important in living FREE.

Step 1 : So in order to live this life a freedom, the first thing to do is to forget everything that you previously learned in your life that limits or harms you in any way. This includes negative thinking, and undesirable experiences. Although it may be a little difficult to just forget a bad experience but you can forgive yourself or whomever you felt offended by in that particular experience. You should also examine and figure out what good things that you learned from that experience. As you do that, you are letting go of your limits and the holds that keep you in bondage. However, you must replace that with what you want or you will only go right back to your old ways and beliefs. It is a trade off. Something has to exist in the mind, you have to be conscious of something in order to live. You can only do what you know, what you are aware of, and what you are used to doing. This is why you must practice, practice, practice thinking what you desire in order to know, be aware of, and become used to doing what you desire to do.

Step 2 : The second step to living free is to become aware of everything that you want. No struggle should exist in your mind. No lack, no pain no negativity in any way shape or form. The only thing you should focus on is freedom. The mind is the place where this thought takes place. You don’t have to ask permission to think about what you want either, you just simply think, focus, feel, and believe in your mind. The last and only step that is to take place happens outside of your mind, and that is action, although action is directed by the mind.

Step 3 : Freedom is living a peaceful life. You must learn about peace, and how to live in it to be truly free. Jesus Christ we all know was the greatest who ever lived. Whether you look at him as God’s Son, a prophet, or a teacher, it doesn’t even matter. Every religion has respect for him and believe that he led the greatest example for everyone to follow. No other being ever lived as free as he did. I personally study him and his teachings and give my best to live as he taught. A few examples of his great faith include, living humble, living peaceful, being righteous, without sin, healing the sick, turning water into wine, walking on water, feeding 5,000 with only two fish and five loaves of bread, raising the dead, and rising from the dead. Considering all of these things, he was still only human. He also said himself that even greater things would be done. This means he wasn’t even working at his full potential, and he was saying that we can operate at those levels also. So after understanding all that he was able to do, each and every miracle, why is it that the only thing some of us manifest is just to “get by”? Getting by in life is not what our purpose is at all. We are meant to succeed at everything we do. We are here to live in happiness, peace, love, and abundance. Not the opposite.

So if Jesus could do it, and he said you could do the same, then as James Arthur Ray says, when would “Now” be the right time to change? I think “right now” would be perfect for you! Begin now to give yourself a mental cleaning of everything you don’t want and can’t stand in your life, and never bring it up again. Make it a promise to live your life free to do the things you desire to do deep down inside of yourself. Never let anyone tell you what you can’t do, because everything is possible, and the life of Jesus Christ is a great example of that. There are many more people who are also displaying that all things are truly possible. Life is here for you to enjoy, only. Nothing less than that. So have faith, believe, be great, and be free. BE FREE!

Live Like A Kid Again

Remember how you were so excited to wake up and start your morning? You couldn’t wait to go to the playground. You loved to play outside whether it was rain, sleet, hail, or snow. Or how about those times when you were inside the house and you made the best of your situation by using your imagination to pretend like you were really somewhere else? It seems like living as a kid is the best life to live. Think about it. You get free stuff, you almost always get your way, and you make sure that you at least have some type of fun wherever you are. I haven’t even began to cover the many things kids do that make them the most important people on earth. Kids are the most important people on earth simply because they are humble, happy, faithful, and alive. Children are more enthusiastic towards everything about life, literally. If you ask an adult to drive across town to pick up something, chances are they probably wouldn’t be too excited to do it. Now if you ask a child to drive across town, (who cares if they don’t have a license, just imagine it, that the point remember?) no kid on the face of the planet would dare even turn that favor (or opportunity, from a child’s point of view) down.

When was the last time someone told you what to do, and you did it with no questions asked? If you can remember that, can you also remember how you couldn’t wait for that person to see how well of a job you did? I’m pretty sure that if you can remember a specific time that happened to you, and you responded in a humble way, I can almost guarantee you that you were a kid. Most adults are not that humble, at all. It seems as if as soon as we get older we adopt the poor old adult like attitude and mindset which causes us to lose our humility. Everyone now days wants to be the boss, and it seems like the older they get the more grumpier and bossier they get. What we need to do first is go back into time when we were living our lives as kids. Feel that feeling of being a kid, and then apply it to your life now. Heard of the saying “you are as young as you feel?” It is very true, no matter what age you are you can feel as young as you want to be (if you feel like it ;) ). However the only way to get there is by being humble, stop trying to be so adult like and step up to the plate and be serious (or maybe not). Besides, its boring anyways, wheres the fun?

The fun is found in the mind which is what creates that happiness. I remember clearly all of the times when I was playing some type of super hero, and I was always extremely enthusiastic about it. I may have not seen anything in the material world, but inside my mind I was in a whole other world, which was were all of my attention was. Even if I wasn’t running around aimlessly in the house or the yard, I was at least daydreaming about myself having fun being whatever I imagined. The best part about it, was there was no limits. If only everyone could still live this way we could get much more done, and much faster. If I would just simply apply what I just said to a goal that I have or if I desire to be something, then it would surely manifest in less time. The reason it takes longer is because we are doing the exact opposite. The three simple steps to manifesting whatever you want in your life is Thinking, Feeling, and Acting. As I was a kid, thinking, was my daydreaming about who I wanted to be, all of the time. However the important part was that I wasn’t just thinking about what I wanted to become, I was thinking I am that something that I decided to be (believe you have what you ask for). The feeling part was my enthusiasm with everything I did, as I truly believed deep down in my heart that I was that which I said I was, and that feeling was very strong. My actions, well I was only a kid, so my actions were using what I had to help me as I pretended to be what I wanted to be. If we could take the action just as a child would we could get our goals accomplished 10 times better and faster than we normally would.

Children have such great faith, I believe. The reason, you could tell a child anything, and they will believe you. Remember they are in a humble mindset so they respect and honor whatever you tell them. Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny are great examples (not to say they don’t exist ;) ). It’s not just that they don’t know any better, they believe because they haven’t adopted any adult like limitations in their minds. Children are becoming something new and living their dreams every single day. So what is stopping us adults? I think that we have lost too much of our childlike features, that we have become limited in our minds by adopting “other” peoples ways. These “other” ways is the problem that keeps us “in the box”.

Another thing I hear is “oh your young so you can do that, I can’t”, or “I can’t eat that, but your young so you can have all you want”. Who is feeding our minds with this information that we can’t eat what we want because we’ll become sick or unhealthy? Now if people have a belief that certain foods will make them sick or unhealthy in any way, then for those people it will be just as they believed it will. Although, it doesn’t have to be, it truthfully all just depends on what you believe is good for you and what is not. “You life is determined by you, not someone else’s opinion or experience” - Walt. So with that in mind, you can be healthy if you feel like it. When I say feel like it, I mean if your thoughts and your feelings are in right alignment with what you truly desire.

Everybody has a goal, dream, and desire to do, have, or be something. We can all achieve everything that we want, and we can do that best by thinking and providing that enthusiastic feeling as if we were kids. Action of course is definitely required to accomplish the task as well. The most important thing is to make sure that we are doing what we want to be doing, and also that we are having extreme fun doing it with enthusiasm.

Someone told me a joke - “Why do adults always ask children what they want to be when they grow up? Answer - So they could get ideas”. That joke whoever made it up definitely understands the way we are meant to live, and it’s not old (mindset not age).

“Doing a job well will only get you by, but doing a job because it’s fun and doing it with enthusiasm returns outstanding results!” - Walt
