Ask The Right Questions To Get The Right Answers

Ever wonder why you aren’t successful? Why you can’t lose weight? Why you are so broke? Why your relationship is not doing so well? Or maybe you want to know why you are always sick, and why you don’t enjoy life. We all have gone there before, asking the wrong questions and then finding undesired answers. The funny part is that we ask questions for something we don’t want with the intention of what we do want and then we become upset with the undesired result we are given. That undesired result, even though it’s not what we really want, is still the exact answer to the question asked.

We always ask ourselves questions all day long in our own minds. Once we ask a question, our subconscious mind gives us an answer, always. What most people fail to understand is that asking questions like “Why can‘t I do such and such” will only give you a relevant answer. It seems pretty crazy how we ask a disempowering question and then have the nerve to expect an amazing result! It just doesn’t work that way. You ask of something positive, you get something positive. You ask of something negative, you get something negative. Depression can start for people that consistently ask disempowering questions that mainly focus on what they lack. You should never focus on your lack, unless you want more of it. Focusing on what you want will always grow stronger in your life. As we ask ourselves questions, what we are doing is focusing on the question, and the answer or solution. As we do that our subconscious mind will search and find an answer.

Normally I ask myself a question not even realizing I am asking a question and I always get my answer. If I’m about to leave and I can’t remember where I placed my keys last, what I would do is ask “Where did I put those keys?” Next thing you know, “Here they are” I find them. I also often see people who others say are very negative about everything. You’ve seen these people, every time you talk to them about something they have something negative to say no matter what it is (but not you of course ;) ). I have asked “What is it that is good about this person?” or “Why is this person so positive around me?” Every time I asked those empowering questions it seems as if was having conversations with totally different people. I focused on the positive questions and I got a positive result even though those particular people were considered negative (this goes to show everyone has something positive about them). Everyone has experienced this in one way or another whether they can realize it or not.

So the first thing you should do to start asking the right questions to get the right answers is to be aware of the current questions you are habitually asking yourself. Then once you know what you are dealing with, you can then begin to change those disempowering questions into questions that will always return a positive result. A good example : instead of “Why am I so broke?” change it to “Why am I so wealthy in all areas of my life?” Instead of “Why am I having such a bad day” change it to “Why am I having such a good day.” If you are in business, don’t ask “why aren’t we making our sales plan?” You should be asking “How can we make our sales plan?”

Or “What proper steps must we take in order to reach and achieve our sales plan” No matter what you do always ask the right question that is formed in a way that could only bring the truly desired answer that you want. Remember, asking disempowering questions about what you don’t want will absolutely never give you want you want and deserve. It may seem strange, but it most definitely works well, but ONLY to the EXTENT that you take it to.

The Blind Test

What is your perception of life, good or bad?

In your opinion is there more good than bad in this world, or the other way around?

In my opinion I see everything as good. I personally believe that everything created is good, because the one who created it himself is good. If I were to say anything is “not good” it wouldn‘t be anything in the world at all, not even people. I would say it is the sinful thoughts that people have that are the only thing bad. Those thoughts people have are the causes for their actions. We are given free will to make choices in life, think and do as we wish. However just as we are given free will we are also responsible to face the consequences whether good or bad for our actions. Everyone who has ever lived here on this earth (except one person) that I know of has thought a sinful thought in their mind, no one is perfect. So if anything is considered bad in this world, it’s our wrong choice of thoughts.

People think that knives, and guns for example are considered bad things. Although there not. Knives are used in the kitchen to prepare your food, guns are used to go hunting with or to be used at a shooting range. They are only made out of metals and irons. Metals and irons are definitely not bad. People are not bad either. It is the thoughts and actions they choose that lead to them MISusing guns and knives to do harm. Remember, no material thing on this earth is bad, neither are people. It is the evil thoughts which lead to actions that we entertain in our minds that is considered bad in this world.

It seems as if most people still can only see and point out everything that is wrong and out of place. I think a new way of living should take place for the majority of us all here on this earth. There is much more to see rather than what we so foolishly choose to limit ourselves to see. Good or bad comes from within us, when we change that, we really do change our life, and everything we experience in it.

The best thing to do is start this day right now (yes now) seeing life in a completely different view. Change from the negative view of “everybody and everything is bad” and learn to see all of the good that exists in the entire world. There is more than you will ever know of. If you look at all of the poor people who exist in this world and you complain about how they are never helped, then you should shift your focus to all of the giving foundations, charities and all other sorts of organizations that ARE actually helping those in need. If more people would do that we could actually save more of those poor people rather than just sitting on the couch complaining about why they aren’t being helped. If you are one of those people, get up and help. There are more than enough ways to help people these days, and you actually don’t even have to get up if you have a computer right next to you. People are doing more and more of their donations online these days to give to those in need.

There is no excuse, you should make sure that you are being consistent in helping others always, and you don’t need money to help people either. You could easily encourage someone with an uplifting word, and dramatically change someone’s life.

Smiling and Laughing is Healthy For You

Another good name for this would be “Smiling and Laughing vs Medicines and drugs.” My reason for saying so is because smiling and laughing is by far a much better way to living healthier. There is plenty of scientific proof out there that you can search that supports this. My all time personal favorite is from the Bible (Amplified) - “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones - Proverbs 17:22. ” To live in this way is our natural state of being, sadness and despair is not. Of course we all at times get mad at certain events that take place in our lives, but the honest truth is that we were created to be happy all of the time.

Maybe you have heard the saying “food fuels the body, laughter fuels our soul.” Very true, so you should begin doing it as soon as you start your day and all throughout the day. I know personally that starting your day by laughing and smiling is the absolute best way to start your day (It’s even more important than breakfast in the morning). Another saying I have heard is that it takes more muscles to frown, than it does to smile. In this case the number of muscles doesn’t really matter as much, whichever one YOU decide to do is really what matters. Whichever state your mind is in is what you are and what you will attract to you. Smart people are always in the happy state of mind so that they can attract even more of the situations and circumstances that match who they are.

I have seen enough people in my life to be able to tell the difference from happy and sad, healthy and sick, cheerful and depressed. It is unlikely that you would find someone who is always smiling and laughing with a cheerful attitude and an unhealthy body. It just doesn’t exist. Every person I’ve known who have consistently dealt with sickness and living unhealthy were not necessarily the most positive people. Nobody is perfect we have all been sick before so don’t take this the wrong way, I am talking more about people who are always sick and unhealthy. If you know you are one of those people then you should begin to smile right now, your medicine is inside you, only you bring it out.

The best advice to give you is to smile and laugh consistently throughout the day. Your smile and laugh should by far outweigh your frowns, or whenever you don’t smile at all (which is a frown). Join in on activities that cause you to smile and laugh.

Here are some ideas.

Go to Youtube.com

Do a Google search for humor, comedy, funny, jokes, laugh, etc.

Play the staring game with someone, and if you don’t have any friends, go into the bathroom and shut the door (important: the door must be shut completely in order to avoid your own embarrassment) then look in the mirror and play the staring game with yourself ;) First one who laughs loses……(or I guess the point of this post would actually be to say that you win,….(you get it))

Go see or rent a funny movie.

Call someone you know while disguising your voice and tell them its you in a way as if everything was normal.

Play some sort of board game with your friends that would set you up for a guaranteed laugh.

When you see someone else who is sad and down, make it your life purpose to not only make them smile :D but make sure they laugh themselves so hard they have a new set of six pack abs!

I just thought of another one, play a game with someone about smiling throughout the day. The first person who is caught “not smiling” loses that round. The person with the most smiles and laughs wins. Play fairly.

No Plan B!

Successful people are a success because they are very committed to their work. The majority of them have made a definite plan. With that plan that put in faith to believe that their plan would succeed. They also provided the right necessary action to pursue getting that plan completed on time. What they didn’t do is what the majority of people do today. This majority of people are always listening to “other” people, but those “other” people really don’t have a clue as to what their talking about when it comes to success. In order to truthfully be successful and get what you want done, you of course need genuine faith and action. With those two, you only need one plan. Having a plan “B” means that you don’t have 100% faith that you will succeed in plan “A”.

Having a plan “B” is for losers. Only winners stick to their original plan and succeed at it. They succeed because of their honest commitment to their plan. Whenever you make the mistake of creating a plan “B” you are immediately telling your subconscious mind that you don’t expect to complete plan “A”. So whatever time you took in creating plan “A”, it was surely wasted. Now it’s not impossible to create a back up plan and succeed on the first one, because many have done it. So it’s definitely achievable, it’s just not believable. In other words, you don’t believe in yourself when you do it that way, and that wouldn’t be good for the undisciplined. I consider myself to be a very disciplined person (wasn’t that easy), so even if I did have a plan “B” I know I could still get “A” done. However, in my situation I would waste my time if I were to try to come up with a plan “B” knowing “A” will work definitely (Confidence). Fortunately I don’t do that, when I plan, I deliver. So you should do the same and have the same attitude of confidence by sticking to your original plans.

As I said earlier, listening to other people will get you going down the wrong path. The majority of people are so limited in their thinking, that is why they are so limited in life. I chose not to live according to other peoples standards. I believe that only I know my own purpose in “my” life, so the majority of my inspiration comes from within me. Lets use college as an example. The majority believes that you need college in order to succeed at anything in life, by getting a good job and making good money. What about Bill Gates? He is the wealthiest man in the world, and he dropped out of college to start Microsoft. if you consider yourself smart like Bill (which we all are, some smarter, while some yet unaware), then you can do the same thing, possibly even better.

My point is that “Good” is all that you can really get from following “everything” other people say, thats the limit. Our mission is not to be a people pleaser. If you are like me and you want to be “Great” you will have to do everything according to what YOU believe YOU should do as opposed to what someone else thinks. Only you know you. Therefore YOU know what YOU want, and there is no way someone else knows what you want any more than you.

Loud Actions and Quiet Words

How many people do you know who can talk the talk but never walk the walk? Maybe you are one of them, or maybe you are becoming one of them. I have seen many people in my life who have this issue, and many of them just don’t get it. Whether they are intentionally lying or just non dependable whenever it comes to their word, either way it is very annoying to hear anything from these type of people. Reason, they never deliver what they promise, and the more they do it the worse they get. If you feel you do this too much or even just a little bit, I would suggest a shift in your consciousness.

You make a shift in your consciousness by becoming conscious of new things. In this particular situation, I would suggest doing less talking and showing more actions. This principle works well with whatever you are into. The key to doing it successfully is to just do it exactly like the title, by showing “Loud Actions and Quiet Words” Let me explain. If you have a test to study for next week, and you know you need to study for it big time, you shouldn’t be spending all of your time talking about it so much. When you spend all of your time talking about it, you are actually exhausting yourself, which would drain your energy from getting the actual work done successfully and in a timely manner. Sometimes it seems as if we all have had a tendency to tell others what we want to do. Over and over again we are discussing our desires to other people while we are unconsciously falling in love of having a conversation about it. I could talk about achieving anything I want to all day long, but without any action its pointless. It is good to have faith in what you want to do, have, or be, but it is “Action” that actually gets those things done.

There are many people who talk, talk, and talk all day everyday and they won’t ever shut up. These people are commonly known as procrastinators (don‘t worry we all do it a little). In order to use loud actions with quiet words you must learn to keep your work to the max, and your words to a minimum. Lets go back to my earlier example where you would imagine if you had a test due next week. Now pretend like you are the smartest person in your class (and yes, you can be a nerd if you want to, remember its your imagination, you can be whatever you want). If you are the smartest person in your class, I seriously doubt you will do any talking to others about the test. I believe you would instead spend that energy and use it to study hard and diligently for that test. Wouldn’t you? (Sorry, I guess only smart people would be able to picture that experience, but don‘t worry, you are!) I think you would. If we compare two people from the classroom in this situation, one being smart and the other not as smart. The not as smart person would spend the majority of his time worrying, complaining, putting off, and talking too much about the test rather than actually studying for it. The smart person would of course be the exact opposite as he spends the majority of his time studying for the test, and talking little. This is the same with business. The small people who want to be successful spend all of their time talking about wanting to be successful. They wish it, dream it, and desire it, but never achieve it. However, the big boys spend a lot less time doing less talking and doing more work. In the end, all that matters is the work. If a person never said a word but did all of the work necessary, that person still did their job completely 100%. Speaking about what you want to do is not really bad, necessarily, it actually can be good motivation. It is the talking “too much” part that hinders success.

Keep in mind. Your actions should always speak much louder than words. Only actions accomplish the tasks, dreams, goals, and desires. Faith without works is dead.

“Actions must always outweigh speech to accomplish anything.” - Walt S.

Pain is a Highly Concentrated Thought

I have learned something very interesting about pain. Pain is only a highly concentrated thought. Whether it is physical, emotional, or whatever you associate your pain with, it is clearly nothing but a highly concentrated thought. Think about the last time someone seriously mistreated you unfairly. After they did what they did, what did you do? Then after that? Then after that? I’m pretty sure you consistently thought about what that person did to you. You probably replayed that scene over and over again a countless number of times. Where does it leave you? Nowhere but feeling even more hurt. Any feeling we know comes from a thought first. If the feeling is bad or painful, then it’s obvious that the thoughts that are creating those feelings are painful as well. The solution to that would be to not think so much on a bad experience, but rather if the thought comes up, think about what good it did for you. Also think about what you learned in that particular situation. Then move on to something else good.

Have you ever woke up one morning and hit your foot against something? If you are like me you know that may be the most annoying thing in the entire world, especially if its the first thing you experience when you wake up! However, I know that if someone was down the hall with 1 million dollars and you had to race someone to get it, surely you wouldn’t stop and complain about a little thing like that now would you? No you wouldn’t. That alone should tell you that you really have a choice whether something can hurt you or not, it’s all based on how you react to it. People spend so much time escalating their pain and misery while unconsciously knowing their even doing it. If you notice a pain anywhere in your body and you start complaining and pointing it out to yourself and everyone else around you, what do you think is going to happen? It’s definitely not going to heal. Wherever your attention is, grows. So that pain you are concentrating and focusing on, Grows! That person that treated you unfairly, Grows! Any negative thought, or negative physical pain that you are always wining and complaining about like a little sissy baby, Grows!

Here’s a trick. Remember that time when you had a headache or your foot hurt? It hurt and hurt mainly due to your concentration on the pain. But, when your focus and attention shifted to something else, the more you had your attention away from your pain, the less pain you felt! Suddenly you didn’t feel any pain at all! Amazing! Thats the secret, or maybe its not but whatever it is you know now how to deal with any type of pain. Remember, this doesn’t mean your invincible, so don’t go out trying to be superman.

What is relevant to you?

Here are two important questions you should ask yourself. Whenever you are at work or home or anywhere what do you think about most? What are the majority of your conversations about? Now, what are your desires, dreams, goals and promises? If the answer to everything I just asked you is not relevant to each other, then you have been wasting your time. So the key to living your life the way YOU want to, is to have everything going on in your life working together in alignment with each other.

If my goal was to help the poor and I knew that was the thing I wanted to devote my life to, then I should be thinking feeling and acting in every way that supports my desire. My conversations should be spoken in a way that supports who I am and who I am becoming. Of course speaking negative about myself or about anything else that goes against what my purpose may be, would definitely defeat the purpose. Another great example is how everybody wants more money to be financially free, but they are always so focused on how much money they don’t have. Their thoughts and their feelings are not anywhere in alignment with actually being financially free, but just the opposite. Yet they still want it. Unfortunately, to want something and think you are going to get it just because you want it is insane. It takes action, thoughts, feelings, and action (Also known as faith and deeds). Another important thing you should not do is become ungrateful for the money that you currently have. You can never receive more without being grateful for what you have.

What you must understand is that in order to have, do, or be something, you must internalize it and focus on it. Listen to those thoughts and conversations you have and then ask yourself, “is this relevant to my purpose?” Thinking and discussing anything in a negative way no matter what it is can actually push your desires further away from you. So if you catch yourself thinking or talking about something that hinders your blessing or is just irrelevant to you and your future, let it go. Your time is much more valuable if you give that time and attention to what you want in life as opposed to what you don’t.
