Beyond the power of positive thinking

Do you believe that if you have positive thinking you’ll live a much better life? Maybe you think you will have drastic changes in your financial life as soon as you start thinking positive. I once thought that if I started thinking positive about things, that my life would change. I followed everything that was written in the books that I read. However what I have found was that thinking positive is nothing. It is almost as if nothing really changes, accept the way we view things. Positive thinking books suggest that when we think positive we will increase in all areas of our lives and enjoy our them more. Unfortunately that’s not necessarily true, there is much more to it than that required to actually achieve or manifest your desires.

There are many self help books that will tell you that to think positive you will change every area in your life. As I said, this is not true, and the reason this is not true is because it is not all that you have to do. Someone could become broke and then start thinking positive about it and all they are doing is thinking positive about being broke which is what they don’t want. The same with a sick person. A sick person may try to think positive about their sickness, but unless their thinking about health, and feeling and taking action to be healthy they will remain sick. It takes much more than thinking positive to get the true results that you want. In order to get the results you want you need to learn to become conscious of the thing that you want, and then be positive that you are going to get it. When you are conscious and aware of the things that you want it is when you start to take action with positive thoughts that those things you desire come to you.

The three steps you should consider when trying to achieve or manifest a desire is to continually and consistently think, feel, and act in alignment with your desire. However the key is to think, feel, and act as if what you want is already yours. Your inner speech should be speaking as if you already have what you asked for. Your inner speech shouldn’t be saying I will, or if I receive what I asked for. No, your mind should only be thinking as if you have exactly what you asked for. Remember there is no limit to what you can think in your mind, which means the same for your feelings and actions, which also means your manifestations.

Go beyond positive thinking and think about what you want as opposed to nurturing what you truly don’t want in a positive way. As you do that remember to add feeling and action to those thoughts that are in alignment with your true desires.
